We are all simply different parts of the same Universe
This thesis need not be taken any further than that. Your religion and spirituality, or lack thereof, are your business--as long as you don't try to enforce them on others.
But if we are all parts of the same universe we are best off acting that way: As valuable parts of that Universe living lives of vitality, love, and joy.
All this means is that we act with the interest of the greater good in mind. Although we are primarily responsible for those close to us, our love should not end at any borders. It's really nothing new. It just explains the reason why.
